Windows Live Messenger
Instant messenger on 3 lets you message your friends just like you would from your PC. They can be at their PCs or on their 3 mobiles, as long as they've got their instant messaging switched on. To get going, all you need is your existing MSN Passport. To set up an MSN Passport account, simply download Windows Live Messenger for your PC and follow the instructions.

3 currently offer windows live messenger on the following handsets:
- Nokia - 6233, 6288, 6500 Classic, 6500 Slide.
- Sony Ericsson - K610i, K770i.
- Three - Skypephone
How to get going.
- Select the Windows Live Messenger icon on your handset
- Select the @hotmail.com, @msn.com, or @hotmail.co.uk, Other e-mail…
- Select the MSN Passport service login. It should be the same as the end part of your sign-in name (everything after the @ symbol) and press
- Enter your username and password
- Select Login
