A day at the beach. A winter landscape or your friends at a party. Capture your favourite scenes with the 5300's 1.3 mega-pixel camera and immortalise them in brilliant photos. Bring light into the darkness and make use of the flash. With the 5300's 1.3 mega-pixel camera, the forces of light are always victorious.

Full of Colour!

The Nokia 5300 features an astonishing 256K colour screen. This display has amazing quality and clarity to make browsing images and video files a much more enjoyable experience. You will find yourself just looking at your phone for no apparent reason at all, but only just to enjoy the clearness of this display!

FM Radio on the move

The O2 Nokia 5300 XpressMusic has a built in FM Radio. You can now listen to all your favourite FM radio stations right on your mobile phone. You also get a Nokia stereo headset in the box so you groove to the music with great sound quality.

Java Technology

Enrich your Nokia 5300 with interactive, pulsating games and applications which can be downloaded and stored in the handset. They are easy to uninstall, so you don't have to worry about cluttering up your memory. Just delete the application when you're done!

The Nokia 5300 XpressMusic uses the new hi-fi ring tone technology called "polyphonic". Its obvious that a great deal of research has gone into making the most of the amazing sound quality, the clarity and loudness of the sound at full volume simply defies belief.

Bluetooth v2.0

Be part of this ever growing technology they call Bluetooth. Bluetooth allows your 5300 to communicate with other Bluetooth devices up to 10m away. You can connect to printers, headsets and even computers, without the use of wires!

Bluetooth v2.0 boasts a communication speeds up to 3 times faster then previous Bluetooth releases (up to 10 times in certain cases). It also has lower power consumption through reduced duty cycle, and simplification of multi-link scenarios due to more available bandwidth.

Mobile Internet

Incorporating the latest technology for WAP mobile internet, you can use WAP to access a range of information from the Internet, via your 5300 XpressMusic's, high-resolution display, including news, travel and information.

Fast data speeds with GPRS

As the O2 Nokia 5300 XpressMusic supports GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), you will be able to take advantage of this virtually permanent connection to your network, and you will only be charged for the amount of data that you transfer, and not the amount of time that your online.

Picture messaging with MMS

The O2 Nokia 5300 XpressMusic supports MMS (Multimedia Message Service) for Multimedia text messaging. This new technology allows you to send sounds, pictures, animations and formatted text in your message. These messages can then be exchanged between friends and family with MMS enabled mobile phones.

Triple band

The O2 Nokia 5300 XpressMusic is designed around an internal triple band antenna which allows it to be used world-wide, including Europe, the USA and Canada on 900, 1800 and 1900MHz frequencies.
